Nnimmo Bassey is a Nigerian environmental and human-rights advocate, architect, author and poet. His public work has focused on the effects of oil extraction in the Niger Delta and on environmental and climate justice, including through Environmental Rights Action/Friends of the Earth Nigeria, Friends of the Earth International and the Health of Mother Earth Foundation.
